‘Supporting sustainable building & design’

Nauticus Bar in Edinburgh’s Leith champions Scottish produce in its food and drink menu wherever possible. The socially and environmentally conscious proprietors are also supportive of using local materials wherever possible to reduce their carbon footprint. By using the K-SLIP™, produced from locally sourced construction waste, this project allowed these purveyors of Scottish produce to provide a welcoming and informal atmosphere to their whisky tasting room.

The mix of earthy colours from the K-SLIP™ range combined with some more vibrant hues in cyan and magenta, makes a focal point of the whisky cellar that is both visually pleasing and aligns with the company’s focus on using local products and supporting sustainable building & design.

"Kenoteq's sustainable brick slip wall has truly elevated the ambiance of our whisky cellar. Its charm and eco-credentials have made it a standout feature. Produced with locally sourced recycled materials, it not only adds visual appeal but also aligns perfectly with our sustainability values."
